Hello #LoyalRoyals

Now I love a good salad but it needs to be substantial. I really don’t want to be peering into the fridge again at 10pm in need of a snack!

So here’s six of our favourite salad recipes for you, all in one place 😉 Share them with friends and family or scribble them on a note-to-self and stick it to the fridge. If you’re needing to amp up your intake of fresh, raw, delicious foods, wedge some of these into your weekly meal plan.

Crunchy Rainbow Salad

This Crunchy Rainbow Salad is a firm Palace favourite because it’s fuss-free with plenty of nutritional kudos on account of the raw veg. The hummus and the cottage cheese provide that little bit of luxury. In fact, it’s a great way to get friends and family who dismiss salads as ‘rabbit food’ to reconsider and dig in. Moroccan Carrot & Chickpea Salad

If you’re looking for dishes that can be whipped up from what you have in your fridge or store cupboard right now, this could be it. Grab a bunch of carrots, find that tin of chickpeas and you are pretty much there. Here is the recipe.

Panzanella Salad with Basil Pesto

Panzanella can stand alone as a light meal, but it does loves to hang out with anything off the braai grill, especially fish. So close your eyes, take a sip of white wine and imagine you’re in Tuscany with this Panzanella recipe.

I must avoid wheat. Please recommend some gluten free foods. I am sure other people are also better off without wheat products.
